What this site is
Newcastle Driveway Concreters is a referral service for residential driveway work in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Each enquiry goes to one independent local concreter, who looks at the site, puts a price in writing and does the work under their own licence and insurance. This site is not the contractor. It does not carry out concreting, does not supervise it and is not a party to any quote, contract or warranty between you and the concreter.
Rates and calculators
Rates on this site are guide rates per square metre, supplied and laid, for Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. They are for budgeting. The calculator multiplies your dimensions by those guide rates and knows nothing about your block. The only price for your job is the written quote the concreter gives you after measuring the site.
Council and planning information
The information about Section 138 approvals, crossing standards, mine subsidence districts and related matters was read from the relevant councils' and agencies' published pages and drawings on the dates stated on the pages that carry it. Councils change their forms, fees, drawings and processes without notice. Confirm with the council before relying on anything here, and have your quote state who is responsible for the council application. Nothing on this site says a permit is included or handled unless your written quote says so.
